Aged Care Quality Standards
The Commission assesses and monitors quality of care and services against the Aged Care Quality Standards. Information and resources are available to help service providers and consumers understand the Standards.
Approved providers of residential aged care are required to comply with prudential responsibilities set out in the Aged Care Act 1997 and the Fees and Payments Principles 2014 (No.2).
