About this workshop
This online workshop complements the Quality and Safety in Home Services – 5 Key Areas of Risk guidance and is specific to providers of aged care home services.
The workshop focuses on provider obligations and responsibilities in the context of risk. It includes a series of interactive, practical examples designed to help participants understand key elements of the 5 areas of risk and to then apply these considerations to their individual service settings.
This content will be of greatest value to those who consider and manage risk from a whole-of-service perspective in terms of aspects of policy, procedures and governance.

Audience
This workshop is for providers of aged care home services at the senior management and governance/board level. This may include:
- senior managers and supervisors
- board members
- educators
- executives.
Participants are expected to have a sound knowledge and understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards and their application.
