About this workshop
This online workshop is an introductory session to help providers of aged care services understand the Aged Care Quality Standards (Quality Standards) and how they apply to aged care.
The session has been developed to enable providers to understand how to deliver services in line with the Quality Standards and will be particularly relevant to anyone new to the sector or seeking an introductory overview of the Quality Standards.
Please note: this information session has been redeveloped based on the previous ‘Getting to know the Standards’ and ‘Preparing for the Standards’ workshops delivered by the Commission in 2019.

Participants must have a reliable internet connection to participate in an online workshop. This is necessary to see the workshop content, engage with other participants and take part in the interactive discussions.

Through active participation in this workshop participants will:
- understand how to use and apply the guidance material to deliver services and monitor services that align with the Quality Standards
- understand the key concepts of the Quality Standards

- understand how the concepts of self-assessment, risk and continuous improvement align with the Quality Standards.
