This live learning session is highly interactive, exploring a case study to highlight connections between individual Standards. A series of issues arising for an individual on their return from hospital are explored through discussions in large and small groups. The session applies the Standards to real-world situations and reaffirms the process of self-assessment.
As this is an introductory session, and is based on the draft legislation, the session does not include information on provider categories, evidence required to support conformance, or the audit process. Future resources are being developed by the Commission on these topics.
