Aged care laws in Australia have now changed. The new Aged Care Act 2024 and Aged Care Rules 2025 now apply. While we complete updating of our website, including draft guidance and other materials, to align with the new laws, providers are advised to refer to the new Act and Rules for any required clarification of their obligations and legal responsibilities. Thank you for your patience.

From 1 November 2025, the Commission will charge providers fees for the assessment of applications to become a registered provider and to renew or vary a provider’s registration, and for any audits related to the applications. For more information please visit Register and audit providers | Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission.

This interactive calculator will help you to estimate your registration fees under the new Aged Care Act.

The calculators are for organisations and persons applying to become a registered provider, not for older people receiving care.

The calculators will only provide fee estimates. We will send you an invoice to advise of the amount payable after you have submitted your application.
