Workshops

We run workshops for aged care providers in both home and residential services.

These sessions are a great way to deepen your understanding of key areas including incident management and the Serious Incident Response Scheme (SIRS). All sessions will give you practical tips to support you with meeting your obligations in your service setting.

Workshop Description
Effective Incident Management Systems (IMS) Explore your Incident Management System (IMS) obligations. Learn how to use your IMS for continuous improvement.
Serious Incident Response Scheme (SIRS) in residential and home services Understand your obligations under the SIRS. Learn how to notify us about reportable incidents in residential services.

Upcoming workshops

Workshop Description
The Strengthened Quality Standards in practice A new workshop to help you learn about the Strengthened Quality Standards, and how these can be applied within your workplace setting. 

Registration

Our workshop program is currently fully subscribed, and registrations have been closed.

You will soon be able to register for sessions taking place from July onwards. Registration for these sessions will be managed through the Commission’s Aged Care Learning Information Solution (Alis) following the upgrades which will take place on Wednesday 22 May 2024.
