Serious risk decision
On 19 January 2018 a delegate of the CEO of the Australian Aged Care Quality Agency made a decision that The Uniting Church in Australia Property Trust (Q.) failed to meet one of more expected outcomes in the Accreditation Standards in relation to Blue Care Bundaberg Pioneer Aged Care Facility and that this failure has placed, or may place, the safety, health or wellbeing of a care recipient of the service at serious risk.
The Department of Health has been notified of the risk.
The Quality Agency will continue to monitor the performance of the service including through unannounced visits.
