Serious risk decision

On 5 June 2018 a delegate of the CEO of the Australian Aged Care Quality Agency made a decision that Moran Australia (Residential Aged Care) Pty Limited failed to meet one expected outcome in the Accreditation Standards in relation to Moran Engadine and that this failure has placed the safety, health or wellbeing of a care recipient of the service at serious risk.

An assessment contact was conducted by the Quality Agency on 14 August 2018 at Moran Engadine to monitor the service’s progress. The Quality Agency found the service complies with all Accreditation Standards.

Serious risk is not an ongoing state; it is a statutory decision based on evidence at a point in time.
