Serious risk decision

Following an assessment contact conducted on 18 January 2019, a decision was made that Thomas Holt failed to meet 10 expected outcomes in the Accreditation Standards in relation to Thomas Holt Kirrawee.

On 6 February 2019 a decision was made by a delegate of the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commissioner that the failure to meet two of these expected outcomes has placed the safety, health or wellbeing of care recipients of the service at serious risk. The Department of Health has been notified of the risk.

Serious risk is not an ongoing state; it is a statutory decision based on evidence at a point in time.
