Aged care laws in Australia have now changed. The new Aged Care Act 2024 and Aged Care Rules 2025 now apply. Exchange of Letters between the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission (ACQSC) and Victorian Disability Worker Commission (VDWC)

An Exchange of Letters (EoL) between the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission and the Victoria Disability Worker Commission was finalised on 7 November 2025. The EoL promotes a commitment to working together and outlines each agency’s role, function, and the agreed arrangements to support information sharing.
