Aged care services performance
The Department of Health’s aged care regulatory functions have been transferred to the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commissioner. As these take effect from 1 January 2020, the content on this page is currently undergoing review. For a summary of key changes, please click here.
This section makes available to the public information about aged care service providers' performance relating to their responsibilities under the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission Act 2018 and the Aged Care Act 1997, or the Commonwealth funding agreement that relates to a service.
The information published covers all service types including residential services, home services and National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Flexible Aged Care Program services.
Here you can access detailed information about the performance of individual services relating to the Commission’s assessments of the service. This currently covers residential services and includes audit reports, decisions about serious risk and Consumer Experience Reports.
This sector performance information includes data from the Commission’s aged care quality regulatory and complaints functions.
Here you can access monthly registers of serious risk decisions made in relation to non-compliance against the Aged Care Quality Standards for residential services and home services.
