Following a site audit conducted on 07 August 2023 to 09 August 2023, the Commission made a decision on 19 September 2023 to re-accredit this service.

The period of accreditation of the service will expire on 10 May 2027.

Accreditation decision

Following a site audit conducted on 22 August 2019 to 26 August 2019, the Commission made a decision on 01 October 2019 to re-accredit this service.

The decision on the service’s accreditation period was varied following reconsideration on own initiative on 14 July 2022.

The period of accreditation of the service will expire on 10 May 2024.

Compliance monitoring update

An assessment contact was conducted by the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission (Commission) on 7 January 2020 at The Bays Aged Care Facility to monitor the service’s progress in meeting the Aged Care Quality Standards. The Commission found the service complies with all Aged Care Quality Standards.

Following a site audit the Commission made a decision on 01 October 2019 that this service met five of the eight Aged Care Quality Standards. The service is re-accredited for three years until 10 November 2022.

Following an audit we decided that this home met 44 of the 44 expected outcomes of the Accreditation Standards and would be accredited for three years until 10 November 2019.
