We are aware of the death of a resident at Regis Aged Care, Aspley in Queensland.

Our thoughts are with all those impacted by the incident.

The Commission is working to understand the events leading up to and surrounding the incident.

Approved providers have a clear legal responsibility to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all residents. This is the focus of the Commission’s investigation.

If the Commission finds a provider is not meeting their legal obligations, we will take action to hold them to account.
