Behaviour support plans – fact sheet

From 1 September 2021, under amendments to the Aged Care Act 1997 and the Quality of Care Principles 2014, residential aged care providers are required to have a behaviour support plan in place for each consumer who requires, or may require, the use of restrictive practices as part of their care.
