The period of accreditation of the service will expire on 03 May 2026.

Accreditation decision

Following a site audit conducted on 04 February 2020 to 06 February 2020, the Commission made a decision on 11 March 2020 to re-accredit this service.

The period of accreditation of the service will expire on 03 May 2023.

Non-compliance update

Following an assessment contact conducted on 04 December 2019, the Commission made a decision that the approved provider of the service is non-compliant with 1 requirements of the Aged Care Quality Standards.

Serious risk decision

Following an Assessment contact conducted on 27 August 2019, a delegate of the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commissioner made a finding that Bupa Aged Care Australia Pty Ltd failed to meet one of the Aged Care Quality Standards (Quality Standards) in relation to Bupa Rangeville.

On 9 October 2019 a decision was made that failure to meet one Quality Standard has placed the safety, health or well-being of an aged care consumer of the service at serious risk. The Department of Health has been notified of the risk.

Serious risk is not an ongoing state; it is a statutory decision based on evidence at a point in time.

 

Non-compliance update

Following an assessment contact conducted on 27 August 2019, the Commission made a decision that the approved provider of the service is non-compliant with 3 requirements of the Aged Care Quality Standards.

Following an audit we decided that this home met 44 of the 44 expected outcomes of the Accreditation Standards and would be accredited for three years until 03 May 2020.

This is a new home and is accredited for one year until 03 May 2017. We made the decision on 03 May 2016.
