The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission (the Commission) has monitored the provider’s progress in implementing improvements in the service to ensure compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards. Based on the information submitted by the provider, as of 3 July 2025, the Commission is satisfied actions have been taken to address the non-compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards. Following a site audit conducted on the 25 February 2020 to 27 February 2020, the Commission made a decision 31 March 2020 to re-accredit this service.
The decision on the service’s accreditation period was varied following reconsideration on own initiative on 09 March 2022.

Review audit decision
Following a review audit conducted on 8 April 2019 to 10 April 2019, a delegate of the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commissioner made a decision on 6 June 2019 to vary the period of accreditation of this service. The period of accreditation of the service will expire on 7 May 2020.
The approved provider of the service meets 34 of the 44 expected outcomes of the Accreditation Standards.
Following a review audit conducted on 8 - 10 April 2019, a delegate of the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commissioner made a decision that Royal Freemasons Ltd failed to meet 10 expected outcomes in the Accreditation Standards in relation to Coppin Centre.
On 8 May 2019 a decision was made that failure to meet four or these expected outcomes has placed the safety, health or wellbeing of consumers of the service at serious risk. The Department of Health has been notified of the risk.
Serious risk is not an ongoing state; it is a statutory decision based on evidence at a point in time.
The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission will continue to monitor the performance of the service including through unannounced visits.
